- Should have a thorough knowledge on gemstones and precious stones
- should have relevant working experience working with gemstones
- should have knowledge on astrology and birth charts to recommend the right gemstones to the customers
- Inspection of gemstones to be sure of the quality
- Attend to customers to explain the technical details professionally
- Some admin duties mainly data entry
- Other ad-hoc duties
- All samples of gemstones are kept relevant and their integrity remains in tact.
- Negotiations are completed timeously and the value has been agreed.
- Should be able to provide input to assist with negotiations when purchasing gemstones
- To provide accurate data and reports on sales of gemstones
- Should have current knowledge on the market values of gemstones to advise on the purchase and sales of gemstones
- should be a team player
- Able to work 6 days a week including weekend and public holidays
