- Managing of the day to day operations of the Fire Command Centre and knowing of the fire evacuation plan
- Responsible for safety and security of guests, employees and hotel property
- Conduct check on all security system and equipment at site to ensure that they are operational and well maintained
- Maintain a proper administrative system
- Check activity log book, occurrence book, Lost & Found Book and Incident Report for accuracy of input and information updated
- Preparing of monthly attendance sheet
- Inventory of stationary items
- Compilation of monthly training reports and submission to HR
- Communicate and clarify with security personnel to adhere to performance standards and code of conduct
- Conduct regular audits to continuously assess performance of security officer
- Initiating or maintaining policies and procedures for general safety and security
- Training of staffs for emergency procedures and Standard Operating Procedures based on a structured training program
- To ensure that all officers are fully knowledge with all emergency situations and comply with hotel procedure which demands immediate attention and prompt response action (bomb threat, Anthrax / chemical agent, fire, gas leakage, power failure etc. )
- Maintaining good working relationships with management and members of the departments
- Able to conduct fire safety briefings when assigned by Security Manager
- Able to use the defibrillator / first aid when necessary
- Crime prevention and conducting investigation with regards to threats, thefts, and property damage due to vandalism, guest / employee accidents etc.
- Handling of counter terrorism procedures, citizen arrest and detention suspects
- To perform all duties other than these above which are requested by the hotel management/direct supervisor.
