Key Responsibilities of the Strategic Partnership Manager

Key Responsibilities
1. Partnership Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with the platform's goals, focusing on building mutually beneficial relationships with brand principals, corporate partners, and ecosystem partners.
2. Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new partners who align with our platform's value proposition and target markets. Negotiate partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for all parties.
3. Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively engage with potential partners, fostering open communication and building trust to explore collaboration opportunities.
4. Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with existing partners, acting as their primary point of contact and advocate within our organization.
5. Collaboration Initiatives: Identify and lead collaborative initiatives, such as joint marketing campaigns, co-branded products/services, or ecosystem integrations, to enhance the platform's value proposition.
6. Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly track partnership performance to assess effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product, marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure smooth execution of partnership initiatives and alignment with overall business objectives.
8. Reporting and Insights: Prepare regular reports on partnership performance, progress, and insights for senior management. Offer data-driven recommendations to optimize partnership strategies.
9. Industry Networking: Represent the platform at industry events and conferences to build relationships, gain insights, and identify new partnership opportunities.
10. Relationship Expansion: Continuously seek opportunities to deepen and expand existing partnerships by exploring new areas of collaboration, such as co-innovation or expansion into new markets.
11. Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with partnerships, such as conflicts of interest, changing market dynamics, or regulatory changes. Develop contingency plans to ensure successful outcomes.
Skills and Competencies
• Minimum 3 years of experience in partnership management, digital marketing, e-commerce platform management or equivalent role.
• Essential to have ability to work with brand principals for B2B transaction handling.
• Ability to engage and foster collaborations with both corporates and SMEs.
• Experience creative content marketing including campaigns, storefront, online marketing advertisement and affiliate marketing is preferred.
• Experience in social media management (Facebook/Instagram/Tiktok/LinkedIn) for social-commerce would be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated experience with data-driven decision-making be an added advantage.
• Experience delivering industry trends to cross-functional teams be an added advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport and establish trust.
