POSITION SUMMARY: SR BOOKKEEPER / FINANCE ASSOCIATE
Accela is looking for an experienced and self-starting Senior Finance Associate who has the ability to support our portfolio of fast-growing client companies with a full range of finance, and accounting practices. This role demands a solutions-oriented individual, with primary responsibility for managing the operational finances and providing financial oversight and guidance to business and colleagues and rapidly growing organizations. Organization skills, customer support, responsiveness, and a love for lean processes are key success components for this role.
The ideal candidate is passionate about the important role that finance and accounting plays in a business’s success and thrives off building trusted partner relationships with clients both externally and internally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivery of end-to-end bookkeeping / accounting services
- Preparation of finances
- Knowledge of GST registration, quarterly filings and maintenance
- Cash management
- Monthly payroll processing and knowledge of CPF
- IRAS corporate tax filings and maintenance
- Assistance to the Finance Managers to present Accela products and services to potential clients
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Accountancy or related field
- ACCA or similar accounting body, qualified/part qualified
- A minimum of two (2) years of work experience in a firm or in-house operational finance role
- Experience with Xero cloud accounting system is a bonus
