Overview
- The Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role in understanding and improving business processes. Collaborating closely with business units, this position focuses on gaining an in-depth understanding of the organization’s strategy, services, and operational context. The Senior Business Analyst identifies capabilities needed to address business challenges and contributes to enhancing efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Analyze enhancement opportunities and propose solutions in collaboration with architects, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Create specifications, workload estimates, and project plans.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing.
- Manage monthly releases, following team milestones for analysis, coding, and testing.
- Support the production release roadmap.
- Handle incidents and requests from business users and other IT teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues and bugs.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years as a front office post-trade business analyst.
- Familiarity with Front Office systems (in-house or third-party).
- Understanding of financial assets (banking treasury products) and trade lifecycle, especially fixed income, and money market products.
- Knowledge of risk management concepts and market data.
- Experience interfacing with FO or BO systems and hands-on implementation projects.
- AGILE track record.
