What you will be working on

As a member of the Strategy and Planning department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Board's future by leading the strategic planning process. Your responsibilities include conducting future sensing, framing complex issues, and developing business strategies aligned with the Board's goals. Additionally, you will oversee governance structures, ensuring effective discharge of fiduciary duties.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive future sensing and environmental scans to identify emerging trends and issues affecting the Board.
  • Frame complex and ambiguous issues, developing business strategies that align with the Board’s operational realities.
  • Facilitate discussions with various stakeholders, including senior management, to identify growth opportunities aligned with the Board’s strategic goals.
  • Develop and cascade strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Board’s priorities and effective resource management.
  • Review, update, and align key indicators with the Board’s strategic workplan to monitor progress towards desired outcomes.
  • Institute robust governance frameworks and policies, monitoring implementation and compliance to ensure proper discharge of the Board’s role as Trustee.

  • Experience in facilitating and managing change initiatives within an organisation.
  • Ability to thrive in an environment characterised by change, ambiguity, and complexity.
  • Ability to contribute to the development and execution of an organisation's strategic vision.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at different levels, including senior management, to secure buy-in and align expectations.
  • Ability to effectively multitask and adapt to a fast-paced work environment, readily embracing new challenges.

The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.

Position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with an option to renew, contingent upon confirmation and subject to organisational needs. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
