Job Description:
We are seeking skilled and passionate Mobile Groomers to join our team on an ad-hoc basis. As a Mobile Groomer at Pawkit, you will have the opportunity to work independently, receive paying customers, and provide top-notch grooming services directly at the pet owner's location. Pawkit will provide comprehensive training and support, including medical advice support from our in-house vet for pets if needed during appointments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality grooming services to pets at various locations, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for both pets and their owners.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming setup, adhering to Pawkit’s standards of hygiene and safety.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, offering exceptional customer service and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Manage appointments efficiently, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
- Observe and report any health concerns or abnormalities in pets to the owner and to Pawkit for further action.
- Stay updated with the latest grooming techniques and pet care trends.
- Ensure all grooming tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a pet groomer, with a portfolio of previous work.
- Strong knowledge of various grooming techniques and styles for different breeds.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
- Comfortable working with animals of all sizes and temperaments.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. (Ideal)
- Flexibility to work on an ad-hoc basis, accommodating varying schedules and locations.
- Passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing the highest level of care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification from a recognized pet grooming school.
- Low stress handling
- Basic knowledge of pet first aid.
