Job Summary:
We are seeking aProject Executive to oversee the planning, execution, quality assurance, and customer handover of our residential solar projects. The Project Executive will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, from planning to final customer training and addressing any customer issues that arise post-installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, procurement, and installation crews.
- Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained before project commencement.
- Quality Assurance and Control:
- Verify that all materials and equipment meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Identify and address any issues or deviations from the project plan promptly.
- Customer Interaction and Handover:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular project updates and address customer inquiries and concerns.
- Oversee the final inspection and commissioning of solar systems.
- Conduct final customer training on system operation and maintenance.
- Post-Installation Support:
- Handle any customer issues or concerns that arise after project completion.
- Coordinate with the service team to resolve technical problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Follow up with customers to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in project management, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Strong understanding of solar energy systems and installation processes.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- PMP certification or similar is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
