Alterpacks is a Singapore-based, fast-growing new materials start-up offering a revolutionary range of eco-friendly products made from 100% organic plant fibre, to replace plastics across diverse industries. We’re on a mission to reshape the packaging landscape and we're looking for a passionate Marketing & Business Development Executive to join our growing team in Singapore.
In this role, you'll be the driving force behind our sales growth. You'll spearhead client acquisition across a wide range of sectors, from food and beverage (F&B) and hospitality to manufacturing, supermarkets, and even the medical field. This is a hybrid role – you'll be out there meeting clients face-to-face, understanding their needs, and showcasing how Alterpacks can revolutionize their packaging strategy, helping them transition away from harmful plastics. Additionally, you'll leverage online channels to generate leads, nurture relationships, and build brand awareness for Alterpacks' solutions.
Who You Are:
· A go-getter with a Degree and 3+ years of proven sales experience, ideally within the F&B, manufacturing, supermarket, fulfillment, or healthcare space.
- A passionate advocate for sustainability with a deep understanding of the environmental impact of traditional packaging.
- A natural relationship builder with excellent written and spoken English communication skills, comfortable working with clients from diverse backgrounds and international markets.
- A self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, comfortable navigating uncertainties and taking initiative.
- A highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a dedication to follow-through and exceeding client expectations.
- A savvy online marketer with the ability to identify and capitalize on digital sales opportunities.
