Role: Senior Network Engineer (Design & Implementation)

The Senior Network Engineer ensures the availability, performance, and stability of IT infrastructure to support strategic goals. This role involves working within a team of system administrators and engineers to provide business support.
Responsibilities
- Support existing and future enterprise systems, optimizing IT infrastructure and providing strategic input for network planning.
- Design, install, evaluate, and troubleshoot wired and wireless network infrastructure, ensuring high performance and availability.
- Adhere to IT security policies, procedures, best practices, and change management processes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and diagrams for network projects, ensuring disaster recovery readiness.
- Implement and maintain network hardware, keeping infrastructure up to date with current technologies and coordinating upgrades.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in large enterprise network environments, including multi-protocol networks, problem resolution, OSI model expertise, and Arista Network hardware familiarity, along with network management and proactive monitoring.
- Proficiency with various network monitoring tools and methodologies.
- In-depth understanding of advanced networking technologies such as MPLS, virtual route forwarding, policy-based routing, ether-channel, traffic-shaping, load balancing, VPN tunnels, WAN optimization, firewalls, VLANs, STP, Spine and Leaf architecture.
- Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems, network facilities, electrical requirements, and UPS.
- This role may be required to travel internationally.
