We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Operations Director to lead our operational initiatives at ULC English Language School. The ideal candidate will have a passion for operational excellence and a proven track record in developing and executing successful operational strategies.
As the Operations Director, you will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive operational plans to enhance our language programs and services. You will be responsible for crafting operational processes, executing initiatives, and evaluating their effectiveness. Additionally, you will collaborate with department heads to align operational strategies with organizational goals and contribute to enhancing our operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute operational strategies to enhance our language programs and services.
- Create and implement operational processes, including resource allocation, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
- Execute operational initiatives across various departments to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Measure and analyze the performance of operational initiatives and adjust strategies as needed for optimal results.
- Collaborate with department heads to align operational efforts with organizational objectives and enhance overall efficiency.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement in operational approaches.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to inform operational strategies and initiatives.
- Cultivate partnerships and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors, service providers, and community organizations.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate operational outcomes and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the education or language services sector.
- Strong knowledge of operational strategies, process management, and efficiency optimization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful operational initiatives.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
