Responsibilities:
- Oversee Singapore's spending for Direct, Indirect Material, and Equipment categories.
- Manage Compliance, System & Process enhancement projects for the SEA market.
- Prepare monthly savings reports and consolidate pipelines into the procurement portal.
- Identify, develop, and implement sourcing strategies and savings projects.
- Collaborate with the Regional Category Team to develop and implement strategies.
- Engage with supplier organizations and internal stakeholders to achieve project milestones and action plans.
- Support all business units in achieving lower delivered costs through the model and savings initiatives.
- Develop alternative suppliers and engage appropriate resources to qualify and approve potential new suppliers.
- Assemble contracts and implement supply positions to ensure supply security and achieve procurement goals.
- Work closely with the Supply Chain team on inventory control, material quality, and process safety for materials used.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or related field with 3 years of relevant procurement experience.
- Experience in a chemical plant.
- Preferably knowledgeable in ISO and Halal standards.
- Strong understanding of Oracle and SAP systems.
- Experience with ERP integration or Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
