Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electrical Drafter to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise and accurate technical drawings and plans for electrical systems in various construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, proficiency in drafting software, and the ability to collaborate with engineers and project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts based on project specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy in designs.
- Revise and update existing drawings to reflect changes or modifications in project scope.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software to create and modify electrical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations in electrical design.
- Conduct site visits as needed to gather data and verify field conditions.
- Assist in preparing documentation and reports related to electrical designs and project progress.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, specifications, and project files.
- Support the project team in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in electrical drafting, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
- Ability to interpret and understand engineering and architectural plans.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
