Responsibilities:
• Overseeing the construction activities and progress, planning, implementation, and
monitoring work schedules in accordance to the master and detailed work programme
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works
• Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with
subcontractors
• Handling of technical problems
• Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to construction works, ensure progress according
to schedule, quality standards are maintained site inspections are carried out and technical
issues are resolved on time
• Prepare report and method statement whenever necessary
• Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safer and neat
• Perform risk analysis, risk monitoring and reporting
• Maintenance of risk registrar
• Identify risks and ensure all requirements during design & construction stage are addressed
with suitable protection and mitigation measures
• Prepare, maintain, and update project Risk Register as project progresses
Requirements:
• A registered PE or Architect with a Practicing Certificate
• Min 10 years of relevant experience in civil construction industry with at least 5 years of
experience in civil construction management for major rail and road projects of similar scale,
complexity and nature of work
• Must have at least 5 years of design experience.
• Design for Safety for Professional Course and passed the assessments or equivalent.
• Risk Management Facilitator (RMF) Certification
• Must be trained in hazard identification and risk assessment methodology
• Has experience working in LTA/MRT related projects.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
