We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Engineer to join our young and dynamic security systems team. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and commissioning of security systems projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from CCTV and access control systems to intrusion detection and integrated security solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end execution of security systems projects, from initial planning and design through to installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather project requirements and specifications.
- Develop detailed project plans, site- surveys, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and cost constraints.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Perform system integration and configuration, including testing and troubleshooting, to ensure functionality and performance.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users on installed systems.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports, including as-built drawings and project documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., PE, PMP) are a plus.
- Proven experience in the design, installation, and commissioning of security systems, with a focus on CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to security systems and electronic security technologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software and project management tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively.
