Seeking a skilled and highly motivated Reaserch Associate to support our therapeutic protein and antibody discovery platform. As part of our dynamic team, you"ll be involved in:
- Perform transient expression using CHO, HEK293, and Sf9 cells
- Conduct protein purification using AKTA-FPLC, including affinity, ion exchange, HIC, IEX etc.
- Characterise proteins using techniques such as HPLC, SDS-PAGE, ELISA and endotoxin assay
- Analyse and present data clearly and concisely, demonstrating understanding of drug discovery processes and workflows
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related disciplines
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant industry experience
- Hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques including PCR, cloning, and mutagenesis
- Proficiency in cell culture, particularly with HEK-293, CHO, and Sf9 cells
- Experience in handling AKTA-FPLC and conducting biochemical and biophysical characterisation of proteins
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines effectively
- Team player with excellent collaborative skills
- Previous involvement in antibody discovery research is a plus
