Who are we looking for?
- Minimum 7 years experience as a Marine Electrician in a marine or shipyard environment.
- Valid LEW License
- Knowledge of AC and DC marine electrical systems.
- Experience with automation systems, GPS technology, and green energy systems.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Physical fitness for working in confined spaces onboard vessels.
- Can swim and can work with/on boats.
- Work in offshore islands, such as Pulau Ubin and Coney.
- 5.5 days work week. Able to perform operations beyond the usual working hours for projects during occasions and/or when need arises.
What will you be doing?
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on marine vessels.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics and manuals.
- Perform preventive maintenance and ensure safety compliance.
- Work on automation and GPS systems installation and repair.
- Install and maintain green energy systems onboard vessels.
- Collaborate with engineers and crew members.
