Are you looking for a part-time position based in Singapore? MMR is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Coordinator and Project Assistant to join our dynamic team!

MMR Research Worldwide is a global market research agency, specialising in sensory, offering research solutions to support optimisation in products, packaging and all aspects of branding within food, drink and other FMCG and retail sectors.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented part-time Office Coordinator to join us! This role is integral to maintaining the smooth operations of our office and ensuring that our clients and visitors have a professional working experience with us.

As our Office Coordinator, you will assist with the day-to-day organisation of product logistics and assisting the team with day-to-day project set up / administration to ensure smooth delivery and upkeep in internal system and programs. You may need to support some preparation of food and beverage, or personal care products needed for our in-house sensory trained panel’s assessment for research purposes.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a part-time position, working 20hours per week, 9am to 1pm, Monday to Friday. This individual would be suitable for an individual who is organized, proactive, and enjoys working in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities would include:

Product Preparation / Assistance:

  • Preparing samples and materials for in-house panel training and profiling
  • Researching, sourcing and managing products for research
  • Preparing the working area for panel session, assist panel leader in clearing up afterwards and ensuring that all activities comply with basic food hygiene standards
  • Routine upkeeping and maintenance of sensory lab which include the product preparation area, product storage and panel discussion room.

Administrative Support:

  • Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate records and databases.
  • Assist with basic charting using internal PowerPoint or Excel template (training will be given).
  • Support activities including assistance for new starters.
  • Source / ship / receive products and clear customs for projects

Office Management:

  • Oversee the maintenance of office and basic lab equipment and coordinate with relevant teams.
  • Coordinate office events, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Greet and assist visitors with a warm and professional demeanour.
  • Answer and direct emails or phone calls promptly and accurately.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Maintain a tidy and welcoming working area.
  • Proven experience as an office administrator, receptionist, or relevant role.
  • Fluent English in both written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to lift heavy products.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
