This position reports to the Executive Director and interfaces with youth workers. The programme manager provides supervision, orientation and training support that ensures the quality of youth services. 1. Smooth deployment and scheduling of jobs, orientation, discussion with youth workers about the job requirements and expectations (such as service requirements). Evaluate and review the performance of deployed personnel; Ensure all projects undertaken are well-managed and operating smoothly, including all aspects of administration, marketing, manpower, logistics, finance, and operations; Ensure the organisation is operating at its best capacity and all duties and requirements for the smooth operation of the organisation are handled
2. Checkin with youth workers about any challenges, problems, issues and improvements. Present case notes; Organise COP sessions with the youth workers, and identify development needs.
3. Discuss ideas, feedback, and solutions with management. Engage with schools and drop-in-centres, to discuss service offerings; Network with the sector and source for new contracts. Monitor various channels, deadlines and proposals for requested programmes. Arrange for and attend meetings and discussions with clients, school personnel, community partners, and any other relevant parties to ensure objectives and outcome of programmes are on track.
4. Manpower planning and recrutiment of youth workers according with the ability to meet service contracts requirements.
5. Develop Bilby's Programme Manual including workshops and programmes that would be relevant, enriching, and appropriate for the target audience, based on the requirements and objective of the client.
6. Identify issues and provide mentoring suggestions and discuss case notes with management
