As the F&B Captain overseeing our breakfast buffet service, you will play a pivotal role in managing the dining experience and ensuring seamless operations during breakfast hours. You will assist the supervisor to lead a team of buffet attendants, maintain service standards, and uphold the restaurant's reputation for exceptional hospitality.
Role & Responsibilities
- Work with the Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the setup, replenishment, and breakdown of the breakfast buffet, ensuring quality presentation and timely service
- Work closely with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and maintain seamless communication between front and back of house
- Greet and seat guests proactively
- Monitor and ensure the service operations are running smoothly
- Monitor food quality and presentation throughout service hours, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with daily inventory and report any losses or damages
- Perform other related duties as required by restaurant supervisor
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in breakfast buffet setting will be an added advantage
- Be able to work in team based and fast paced environment
- Have a positive attitude towards learning and collaboration
- Physical stamina and ability to work standing for extended periods
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as the restaurant operates 7 days a week
Working hours: 6 Days from 4am to 1pm inclusive of 1 hour break.
