As a Restaurant Supervisor specialising in our breakfast buffet service, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining area during breakfast hours. You will uphold our standards of service excellence, supervise the breakfast service team, and contribute to maintaining our reputation for outstanding hospitality.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the setup, service, and breakdown of the breakfast buffet to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
- Lead and motivate a team of breakfast servers, ensuring they are well-trained and adhere to service protocols and hygiene standards
- Addressing any concerns promptly and professionally
- Monitor buffet supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimising waste
- Maintain the presentation and freshness of buffet items throughout service hours
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and restaurant policies
- Manage breakfast shift schedules, breaks, and rotation of duties effectively
- Assist in training new staff and ongoing coaching to maintain high service standards
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in breakfast buffet setting will be an added advantage
- Be able to work in team based and fast paced environment
- Have a positive attitude towards learning and collaboration
- Physical stamina and ability to work standing for extended periods
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as the restaurant operates 7 days a week
Working hours: 6 Days from 4am to 1pm inclusive of 1 hour break.
