Project Manager / Senior Engineer
Salary Range: $5500 to $6800
Duties & Responsibilities
1. A strategist with expertise in planning and executing projects with a flair for adopting modern methodologies in compliance with quality standards.
2. Generating data from the drawing, equipment layout, purchase specification, and conducting technical bid analysis.
3. Effectively delegate tasks and duties to the project team, and ensures assignments are completed within the timeline.
4. Regularly inspect the progress of the work on-site and provide guidance to the project and operation teams on best practices and potential efficiencies on scheduling and processes.
5. Liaising and coordinating with all parties involved in the projects such as consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, local authorities, environmental agencies and federal entities etc to ensure successful implementation of the project.
6. Preparing RFQs, receipts, cost estimates for sub-contract works, and pipeline procurement items with vendors.
7. Work closely with operations team to manage project profit margin by carrying out price comparisons and managing operating costs.
8. Problem-solving expertise, demonstrated by identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner; working with others to solve complex issues.
9. Enforce site safety procedures, identify and rectify risks arising from the workplace or work process.
10. Review and monitor weekly, monthly progress claim on a percentage of work done, interim payment, and project cash flow status.
11. Presenting monthly project status reports and change orders to the top management.
12. Ensuring that the project starts on time and ends within the estimated duration.
Requirements:
1. Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in Project Planning & Management, Construction, Operations & Maintenance, Installation & Commissioning, Resource Optimization, and Team Management
3. Must have Project Management Experience in Electrical, Mechanical (M&E), Civil Engineering or related
4. Good knowledge in Auto Cad software is an added advantage
5. Must have knowledge in the Process implementation at Project Site.
6. Class 3 Driving License is a plus.
7. An effective communicator with excellent relationship management skills and strong analytical, leadership, decision making, problem-solving & organizational abilities
8. Work on multiple projects simultaneously and must be able to work in a fast‐paced, multi‐task environment, balancing competing priorities and multiple projects assignments.
