We are seeking a full time junior accountant to support our company Office Manager in managing 2 sets of accounts, focusing on the product procurement and travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Account Manager and company directors to prepare full sets of accounts, including monthly financial statements and cash flow statements.
- Assist in correcting invoices.
- Assist in auditing invoices to ensure accurate delivery of goods.
- Handle bookkeeping duties.
- Support administrative tasks such as scanning invoices, receipts and claims.
- Aid in monthly stocktaking and stock closing exercises.
- Assist the Account Manager in submitting GST returns, income tax returns, and other necessary documents to regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting. Tax and GST submissions experience and knowledge.
- Familiar with Xero and/or Quickbooks.
- Familiarity and comfort within the procurement and/or travel industry.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely financial reports.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with directors and the Account Manager.
