San's Tours & Car Rentals is looking for an experienced, customer-oriented double-decker coach driver to chauffeur passengers on local guided tours to popular tourist destinations.
Job Description
- Drive tour passengers safely to visit famous local tourist sights.
- Work closely with onboard tour guides to provide excellent customer service and create memorable experiences.
- Promote a positive image of the company by ensuring the overall satisfaction of our tour customers.
Responsibilities
- Proficiently and safely drive and operate the double-decker sightseeing bus.
- Maintain a safety-first mindset and follow all traffic regulations and guidelines.
- Interact with passengers in a friendly and professional manner and address any questions or concerns the passengers may have,
- Ensure tour passengers' comfort and satisfaction by presenting a pleasant and welcoming environment.
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the bus, both interior and exterior.
- Conduct regular safety checks on the bus and equipment and diligently report any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate authorities.
- Adhere to all the company's policies and procedures, including scheduling, customer service, and safety.
Requirements
- A valid Class 4 Driving License and Vocational License are compulsory.
- Minimum 5 years of experience driving large vehicles, particularly double-decker buses, in urban environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of the local area and its tourist attractions, with the ability to provide informative and engaging commentary during tours.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- A passion for customer service and a dedication to ensuring passengers' satisfaction.
- Flexibility and availability to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
