What you'll do
- Conduct meetings to create and monitor a compliance plan, issue compliance reports, and submit necessary change notifications and reports to MAS.
- Review the base capital and financial resource ratios to ensure compliance with MAS regulations and assist in reviewing and submitting quarterly and annual reports.
- Communicate with MAS, including preparing and submitting notifications, seeking prior approvals, and handling related regulatory matters.
- Review and update the compliance documents and manuals, including onboarding documents, KYC, AML/CFT reports, and other compliance records to meet MAS requirements.
- Assess the compliance processes, identify and mitigate business risks, and conduct annual proprietary trading disclosure reviews.
- Provide regulatory updates and KYC/AML/CFT training internally when necessary
What you need
- Strong knowledge of MAS Compliance regulations
- Proven track record in conducting compliance testing and audits
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide expert advice on compliance matters
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with SFC regulatory activities will be an advantage
