Responsiblities:
- Perform monthly accounts closing, ensure adherence to accounting requirements
- Responsible for AR, AP, GL functions for multiple entities and monthly bank reconciliation, financial analysis and reconciliation
- Prepare intercompany billings, and monthly intercompany reconciliation
- Support coordination to ensure payments appropriately and timely processed
- Prepare monthly financial statements, account analysis and Group reporting, management reports and variance analysis for report to FP&A team
- Assist with financial year end statutory accounting and audit requirements
- Support in preparation of GST & corporation tax returns, and tax compliance requirements
- Prepare AR Aging report, payment forecast and support cash management
- Supervise junior Accountants on financial reporting of the companies
- Ensure compliance to internal controls and supportcoordination of yearly accounting procedures
- Support implementation of Group policies, ensure compliance to Financial Reporting Standards
- Contribute and/or drive streamlining of processes to improve efficiency and quality of data/reports
- Ensure proper document filings and undertake other ad-hoc assignments as assigned
Requirements:
- Degree / Professional Qualification in Accounting or equivalent
- At least 5 years’ full set accounting experience in preferably from the manufacturing/ engineering, environment
- Ability to manage tight timelines and great organization, interpersonal, communication skills
- Possess good attitude and able to work independently as well as being a proactive team member
