Job Title: Operations Executive
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Executive to join our team. As an Operations Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of daily operational activities. Your primary responsibilities will include liaising with customers, managing documentation, coordinating logistics, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Liaise with local and overseas customers to confirm bookings and address any inquiries.
- Issue tax invoices and maintain accurate record-keeping.
- Handle B/L (Bill of Lading) issues with customers and carriers, ensuring efficient cargo handling and delivery.
- Coordinate trucking and other services with local vendors to ensure timely operations.
- Create and input job details into the company's in-house system.
- Prepare export documentation and apply for all types of customs inward and outward permits.
- Manage suppliers and vendors for Airfreight and Sea Freight operations, ensuring optimal service levels.
- Handle all administration matters related to Air and Sea operation setup.
- Coordinate and execute cross-trade business activities related to Singapore's business.
- Ensure procurement activities are in compliance with company policies and maintain proper records.
- Support network and agent business by providing quotes and information as required.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach, delivering excellent service and satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
- Possess at least an 'O' Level, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field, with a preference for maritime-related qualifications.
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English; proficient in verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Prior experience in a similar role within the freight forwarding sector.
