Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies and procurement operations for raw materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Plan and direct material management policies, objectives, and initiatives.
- Oversee distribution channels to ensure materials are available throughout the product creation process.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Materials Management Department (MMD) for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline procurement processes.
- Generate and analyze procurement performance and spending reports.
- Evaluate bids and conduct negotiations to ensure value for money.
- Ensure fair evaluation of bids, prepare recommendation reports, and award bids in consultation with users.
- Manage inventory and conduct comprehensive stock takes of warehouse items.
- Appoint vendors, conduct annual supplier evaluations, and promptly address feedback.
- Source and purchase non-medical equipment and products at the best prices and terms.
- Order and coordinate delivery of medical equipment and products.
- Evaluate the need for new suppliers when prices increase.
- Handle external audits related to Material Management processes.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/business Management
- At least 5 years working experiences
- Possess excellent knowledge of and relevant experience on procurement and people management skills
