Internal Recruitment Specialist

Our client is a leading organisation in the private education sector and is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to oversee the full-cycle of recruitment.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Proactively build and ensure a continuous supply of strong talent pool through constant and effective sourcing techniques for open jobs and in anticipation of future talent needs.
  • Work closely with line managers to understand the hiring requirements, project and build future pipelines, and source for suitable candidates through appropriate recruitment platforms.
  • Assist with both external and internal hiring efforts (internal recruitment meaning assessment of employees for different or more senior roles.)
  • Improvise and execute recruitment strategy to keep up with the market trend. Including but not limited to recruitment campaign planning, talent planning, etc.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process of professional roles which include the facilitation of interviews and meetings with the candidates.
  • Manage vendor relationships with recruitment agencies/search firms, ensuring cost effective terms of business.
  • Use a variety of channels including but not limiting to social media, job boards, Internet sourcing, market mapping and other technical means to source candidates for open jobs.
  • Constantly explore new channels and creative means on top of existing channels to identify, attract and reach out to both active and passive candidates.
  • Develop recruiting programs and partnerships with tertiary schools or colleges to attract fresh graduates and expand the talent pool.
  • Participate in employment events such as career fairs.
  • Build close relationships and provide trusted recruitment counsel, training and valued guidance to line managers.
  • Use sophisticated applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software to track applicants from selection phase to on-boarding.
  • Assess the successful usage of various recruitment tools and channels.
  • Analysis and reports of market recruitment trends and internal recruitment data.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Proven working experience as a talent acquisition specialist with a good track record in high volume recruitment.
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of various recruitment resource and analytical tools.
  • Possesses HR business partnership skills i.e. strategic thinking, strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Enjoys working in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tough deadlines.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
