Main responsibilities
- Perform full spectrum of accounting functions including month-end closing activities, maintaining accurate journal entries and monthly reconciliations, GST submissions, WHT submission, etc.
- Prepare and compile financial and management reports.
- Prepare of Audit Schedules and liaise with external auditors during annual audit.
- Demonstrate relevant knowledge of corporate tax and handle tax computations.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries on annual AGM, statutoryaudit and yearly tax filing matters.
- Assist in handling accounts payable functions.
- Coordinate with banks and various departments on operational matters.
- Managing cash book and maintain proper records and supporting documents for accounting/bookkeeping.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirement:
- Minimum Degree in Accounting or related studies or related discipline (ACCA/CPA/CA qualifications are an advantage).
- At least 3 years of experience in handling full sets of accounts (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Audit experience is an advantage.
