A Corp Lab in NTU is looking for a Research Scientist to conduct research with the PI for the project titled “Urban Sustainability”.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out research at the Corp Lab at NTU
- Investigate new theory, models and algorithms in the areas of digital twin, smart city, geometric modeling, 3D vision, AI and deep learning.
- Develop and implement algorithms and prototype tools for 3D reality reconstruction, generation, interaction, etc, which may involve Point cloud, 3D mesh, neural implicit representation, RGB-D, etc
- Help advise junior research staffs and students
- Contribute to technical community via conference and journal papers, TDs, patents, and software tools.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a PhD degree in mathematics, computer science, engineering or related disciplines.
- Experience in geometric modeling, computational geometry, shape parsing and reconstruction, AI, deep learning and their applications
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ or Python
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven and strong responsibility for research / work.
