To accelerate IBM's strategy around Hybrid Cloud, Data and AI, Global Solutioning focuses on driving client propositions and skills. It also takes on the nurturing of exponential technology Practices in areas such as Hyperscaler, Automation, Blockchain, IoT and Quantum.
We are looking for Senior Solution Consultant (SSC) who has cross Service Line skills in both Hybrid Cloud Services and Bustiness Transformation Services Growth Platform. The Senior Solution Consultant will be based in the Services Integration Hub of IBM Consulting in Singapore. The SSC will be responsible for working closely with IBM Consulting sales teams in different markets to create suitable solutions for our clients. This is a pre-sales role responsible for development of scope, architecture, estimates, pricing and other artifacts required to support a suitable response to RFPs, RFIs or unsolicited responses. The development of solutioning artifacts will need orchestration of support from different stakeholders and subject matter experts within IBM across IBM Consulting and other Business Units. The SSC is also expected to support the sales team on other areas like providing inputs to proposal, SOW, providing help in preparing for and participating in client Orals and discussions as needed. During the course of solution development SSC is expected to coordinate reviews and approvals of the developed solution from different stakeholders including commitment of resources to ensure smooth delivery during execution of the solution once SOW is signed for a winning solution.
Required Professional and Technical Expertise :
The candidate needs to have at least 10 to 15 years of experience in the industry with thorough knowledge on IBM Consulting Operating model across all Service Lines and Solutioning approach.
The candidate needs to have prior experience in a pre-sales role focused on the activities described above. Experience in working on a cloud platform is required. Experience of working as technical architect in current or prior engagements will be a plus. Good interpersonal and communication skills needed as the role is expected to interact with different stakeholders within IBM including senior leadership during course of solution development.
