Job scope:
- Attend to customers’ system engineering and troubleshooting needs
- Conduct installation, testing, commissioning and documentation of the serial and dedicated machines
- Documentation of identified problems and solutions for knowledge management
- Willingness for on-call-duty, attend ad-hoc system issues
- As and when required by the CEO to be assigned as field service technician of a project
- To maintain the Project Charter under the supervision of the Project Manager.
- Working closely with the Project Manager to obtain approval for the contents of the Project Charter from the CEO and sign-off by Project Sponsor / Owner
- To assist the Project Manager in identifying and defining the project (vision, objectives, scope, deliverables)
- To assist the Project Manager in maintaining and planning the project plan (timeline and work break-down plan, resource plan, financial plan, quality plan)
- Contribute towards identifying project considerations (risks and mitigation, issues, assumptions, constraints).
- As part of the project team to conduct on-site commissioning of products / services
- Assist the Project Manager in supervision of customers during production launch
- Assist the Project Manager in customer training
Job requirement:
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with up to 2 years’ experience preferable
- Experience in PLC programming and project management, especially mechanical engineering, is advantageous
- Possess good knowledge in control system configuration, third-party equipment integration, startup of process control projects, or on-going system maintenance / support
- Knowledge on industrial safety practices and procedures
- Working with CAD systems, able to read CAD drawings, electrical drawings and P&ID schematics
- Knowledge of Beckhoff hardware, Profibus and servo drives and programming production machines
- Knowledge of CE and semi standards o Knowledge of MES and SCADA systems
