Your day to day
The Floor Supervisor/ Public Area Supervisor oversee and direct the day-to-day operation of an assigned area of the guest room floors or public areas.
Financial Returns
- Works with Assistant Housekeeper in the preparation and management of the Department’s budget. Being the role model to lead the team for best practices.
Responsible Business
- •Manage storage areas
- •Maintain adequate stock levels
- •Complete stock takes as required
- •Conduct shift briefing to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known
- •Reports directly to the Assistant Housekeeper or equivalent
- •Provides support and maintain good working relationship with RA and other front-line personnel
- •Cooperate, coordinate and communicate with guests and colleagues in his or her own department and other related departments
- •Conduct inspection of guest rooms and or designated area
- •Provide support to front-line personnel so they can deliver the highest level of guest service possible
- •Ensure that IHG and Hotel standards are maintained
- •Conduct training and retraining of front-line personnel as required
- •Ensure that safety and security standards are maintained
- •Perform other duties as per assigned
- •Generates and follow up on Maintenance work orders
- •Prepared to implement assigned tasks during emergencies such as fire, power outages and bomb threats
What we need from you
Join our team as our Housekeeping Supervisor (Laundry & Uniform/ Public Area/ Rooms Floor) in InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay. You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills.
Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, we’re looking for someone who:
- · has at least 1 year experience in a similar capacity in hospitality industry
- · is responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of hotel guest rooms, public area and maintenance of hotel linen supply
- · is a great team player and contributes to the success of the Housekeeping department
- · is willing to go the “Extra Mile” in order to exceed guests’ expectation
- · has supervisory skills to guide and coach junior colleagues
- · is able to work on a rotating roster
