Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems
- Implement and oversee data integration processes using AWS technologies
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across diverse data sources
- Optimize and manage data storage solutions with a focus on performance and cost
- Collaborate with AI and BI teams to address their data needs
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in data pipelines promptly
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in data engineering and adopt best practices
- Participate in code reviews within our Agile development process
Qualifications
- 3-4 years of experience as a Data Engineer or a similar role
- Hands-on experience with AWS technologies, including AWS S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and Redshift
- Familiarity with Apache Iceberg for data lake management
- Proficiency with AWS Glue or comparable ETL tools
- Strong skills in programming or scripting languages such as Python or PHP
- Deep knowledge of SQL and database management systems
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and effective communication with stakeholders
