Quantity Surveyor Duties and Responsibilities
• Conducting cost analysis and cost control throughout the project.
• Evaluating and negotiating contracts with vendors/clients.
• Understanding the requirements, prepare and submit tenders with specific deadline.
• Identifying and weighing up risk assessment.
• Attend site briefing and survey before tendering the project.
• Prepare tender submissions, including bills of quantities and discuss with management for final submission.
• Other quantity surveyor duties as assigned.
Quantity Surveyor Requirements
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Experienced in engineering in construction is advantageous
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to organize, plan, and strategize
• Willing to travel from the office to various sites as required
• Able to work independently
• Proficient in MS office
• Advanced Excel is a plus
• AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
