Month End Financial Reporting duties
- Perform and review month-end Journals and ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger for month end and year end closing
- Perform and review monthly financial and management report with related analysis and commentaries
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances and area of improvement
- Update monthly Balance sheet schedules and follow up on outstanding items
- Responsible for monthly forecast for both P&L and balance sheet
- Upload Financials into HFM consolidation system and generate monthly reporting packages
- Handle intercompany confirmation and reconciliation of disputes between intercompany
- Involve in annual budgeting preparation
Year End Statutory Audit and Tax Reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, statutory and regulatory requirement
- Preparation and submission of Quarterly GST returns for review
- Attend to GST queries from Operations
- Participate in annual corporate tax filing - Prepare tax schedules to tax agent and address tax queries
- Prepare and submit audit schedules as required by auditors
- Follow up on audit queries
Others
- Participate in system upgrade implementation
- Submit government surveys
- Assist in year-end annual stocktake
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and other initiatives, as assigned by Supervisor
Job requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent field
- Good team player
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Minimium 3 years of relevant experience
