Responsibilities:
- Design and implement broadcast network and IT systems, including servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and storage solutions.
- Manage and maintain network and IT systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve technical issues related to broadcast and IT systems.
- Work with vendors to evaluate and select new technologies and equipment.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to network and IT systems.
- Provide technical training and support to staff as needed.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in network and infrastructure engineering in a broadcast environment.
- Experience in outdoor broadcasting is mandatory.
- Experience in an OB environment, working with Grass Valley Systems, Sony cameras, Lawo Audio Equipment is required.
- Extensive knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, RTP, and SMPTE 2022.
- Expertise in managing and maintaining Cisco network equipment, including routers and switches.
- Experience with broadcast technologies, including SDI, AES, and MADI.
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
