At Dymon Asia, our strategy and people help us deliver the industry’s top tier diversified investment alpha. Now, we are seeking for a seasoned Bulk Metals focused Portfolio Manager. The skillset needed should be focused on relative value covering term structures, arbitrage, fundamentals, and technicals in relation to Bulk Metals.
Responsibilities
- Actively managing investment portfolio of Iron Ore on SGX and Dalian exchanges.
- Analysing economic and financial indicators in relation to bulk metal price drivers.
- Manage portfolio volatility and risk parameters.
- Ability to understand and articulate views on the portfolio in detail.
Skills and Qualifications
- This person must have experience from the buy side and appropriate higher academic qualifications.
- Have a track record of at least 3 years with all years being profitable.
- Must be able to do research independently.
- Must have a sound investment framework and portfolio management skills.
- Must know how to risk manage and size positions according to PM level risk limits.
- Must have extensive network and local know-how in terms of the commodity focus.
- Experience in running a discretionary portfolio.
- Strong knowledge of relative value trading within the commodities space.
- A strong investment process and framework is a must.
- The ability to incorporate ESG in investment approach would be an advantage.
- Quantitative skills in investment process would be an advantage.
