As a ambulance driver, you will be at the forefront of emergency medical care, providing advanced and basic emergency medical treatment and transportation under established protocols. You will operate ambulance equipment, respond to emergency calls, and maintain contact with hospital communication centers regarding patient conditions and locations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care and transportation for emergency and non-emergency cases.
- Provide pre-hospital emergency care and life support to patients during ambulance transport to hospitals or emergency rooms.
- Lead and coordinate a 2- or 3-person team during emergency responses, making informed decisions regarding treatment procedures.
- Maintain professionalism, responsibility, and accountability in all duties.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and transport activities.
Requirements:
- Class 3 driving licence
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Ability to adapt, solve problems, and work effectively under pressure.
- Willingness to work flexible hours with benefits provided for extra hours worked.
- Full vaccination against COVID-19 due to the high-risk nature of the position.
This is a frontline position; candidates are required to be fully vaccinated by MOH. Candidates who do not wish to be vaccinated will not be considered for the position.
