We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent managerial skills, and a deep understanding of financial processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including:Month-end and year-end close processes.
Accounts payable/receivable.
Cash receipts.
General ledger.
Payroll and utilities.
Revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
Capital assets reconciliations.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits.
- Provide recommendations for improving procedures and internal controls.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and integrity of financial data.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as Accounting Manager or Finance Manager.
- Advanced degree in Finance preferred.
- Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close process.
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
