We are currently seeking highly-motivated, passionate Tour Operations Officer to help our customers fulfil their travel aspirations and materialise their travel plans by understanding their requirements and work closely with them to create personalised, seamless itineraries. The goal is to provide quality travel experiences to keep our customers delighted and loyal for future services.
The Tour Operations Officer manages all aspects of travel operations including reservations, ticketing, travel coordination and customer support.
He/She is service-oriented with strong multi-tasking skills, able to address any vendor management issues. He/She is able to think clearly in emergencies and ensures smooth tour operations in accordance with schedules/itineraries.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for designated regions of the world, ensuring that all ground elements are booked and delivered to meet the required customer service levels
- Ensuring all manifests are accurate and sent out to suppliers in time frames set out in Operations procedures.
- All updates and amendments are communicated to the appropriate people in a timely manner.
- Ensuring suppliers provide services in line with company guidelines
- Assisting with special projects and other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements
- Diploma in Travel related studies
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Must be team oriented, extremely motivated, and able to work independently
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- The ability to quickly grasp a variety of systems and ever-evolving business processes
- Experience of working in an operational or customer service role in the travel industry is preferred
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Knowledge of Global Reservation System (GDS) will be an advantage
