Job Role Summary:
- To be a key player to the management team and take ownership of business planning & analysis, budget management etc.
- To play an important role of influencing business decisions and providing essential analysis to measure corporate performance.
- This position is responsible to prepare monthly Sales reports, Sales Analysis reports, Channel P&L reports, P&L by department, and Budget & FC relating to the sales division.
- Provide accurate and timely financial information and reports to facilitate any decision-making.
- Drive process and system improvement
Job responsibilities:
1) Managerial Accounting:
- Prepare Monthly P&L Report by division, channel, department and communicate with stakeholders.
- Prepare Monthly Sales Analysis & Reconciliation Report.
- Prepare Monthly Trade Spend Report
- Drive management reports with insights on budget variance analysis to support business performance as a key business partner with commercial and operations.
- Provide in-depth and timely analysis of KGI/KPI against budget in the areas of sales and marketing, highlight any issues, and drive countermeasures and gap closing actions.
- Drive cost control in partnership with business teams.
- Support to prepare Quarterly Brand P&L Report, Gross Profit Report
- Participate in SKU Rationalization Project
2) Budget and Forecast:
- Coordinate with respective departments to collate sales budget.
- Prepare a yearly budget, and revolving budget/Forecast as requested by Commercial Office.
- Adhere to Budgeting/Forecast Process and Budget/Forecast submission deadline.
3) Transfer Pricing
- Ensure the transfer pricing policy and guidelines are adhered to within the inter-related Company / Branch.
- Liaison with the consultants for yearly Report Preparation.
- Prepare for tax filing
4) Other Finance Functions:
- Participate and drive various business processes and system improvements / ad-hoc projects as assigned by Finance GM
- Monthly Sales Rebate & Trade Expense provision process.
- Approve AP invoices & payments according to Company’s matrix of approval.
- Review the internal control system and communicate with Japan HQ
- Handle bank access management
- Prepare and submit Quarterly and Yearly Surveys to Singapore Statistic Department.
- Any other duties that are reasonably assigned by immediate superior.
Job requirements:
Education and Experience:
- CPA/Degree in Accounting/Finance/Partial ACCA qualification
- Min 3-5 years relevant experience in financial & management accounting particularly in a FMCG industry.
- Capable of working under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Professional Qualifications:
- CPA/ Degree In Accounting or Partial ACCA.
- Able to start work immediately or at short notice would be preferred
