Senior Project Manager – Semiconductor
The Senior Project Manager shall report to the General Manager and is responsible for overall leadership for the project installation business division. His main duties include assisting in Tenders & bidding, Sales, Operations, budgets. He shall be overall in-charge of labour planning, scheduling, meeting set Corporate gross margin and successful completion of all projects.
Experience and Qualification:
- Possesses minimum 10yrs as a Project Manager in the Semiconductor industry
- Experience with automated semiconductor facility equipment for ultra purity processes such as Total Gas and Chemical Management, Ultra-Pure Water plant & Process systems.
- Excellent knowledge and design in slurry blend and Chemical dispensed system.
- Well verse in doing equipment hook-up and facility upgrading for all Total, Gas, Chemical and Mechanical system
- Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
- Have excellent engineering documentation skills and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams on projects of moderate complexity.
- Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering
KPI:
- Bid and secure Semiconductor new booking budget and Sales targets are met annually.
- Ensure we meet the corporate profit margin with minimum of 15% -25%
- Cross selling by referring sales contacts to internal Equipment sales, Semiconductor sales & Tendering department.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Leadership, mentoring, guidance in leading a team of Project Managers, Assistant PMs, Snr Engineers/ Engineers, & Project team members.
- Building and fostering strong customers relationship and assist in generating sales
- Plans, schedules, and coordinates new projects manpower mobilization and demobilization.
- Develops the yearly project budgets, schedule, resource allocation, cash flow and plans.
- Administration of the project contract to ensure compliance with set performance targets, schedules, and technical specifications.
- Manage Project manpower costing and Timesheet for man-hour charging based on projects code
- Successful project close out with full contractual compliance evidenced by client sign-offs, clearing of all punch lists and archiving of project documentation.
- Liaises between main contractors, subcontractors, labour supervisors and foremen to coordinate schedules and achieve milestone targets.
- Manage cash flow on the project and provide regular projection updates.
- Perform accurate monthly Forecast of project financial data to keep management appraised of the current status of the project.
- Implementation of corporate safety program and walk the project for safety on a weekly basis.
- Implementation of QA/QC program.
