With 30+ years of experience delivering reliable tech solutions for taxis, we're seeking a an innovative leader to spearhead the diversification into new product offerings (e.g., Taxi solutions, LED solutions, AI cameras, etc.) and enter new markets.
You'll be the subject matter expert for our products, shaping our roadmap and ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the industry.
Responsibilities
Technical
· Liaise with customers closely to address technical/commercial clarifications relating to our products
· Understand and evaluate customers’ requests/technical specifications, and propose appropriate technical solutions
· Perform technical deployments including firmware upgrades and program parameter updates, and resolve product issues which includes diagnosis and troubleshooting
Technology
- Familiarity with Operating Systems (Android & iOS) will be an advantage for installation setup, navigation and troubleshooting
- Learning Agility: Demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly and adapt to changing technologies
Commercial
· Develop product pricing strategy, including determining price competitiveness and conducting market studies
· Present product solution to customers including specifications, benefits to customers, and tailoring presentations to specific customer needs
· Craft compelling proposal/ quotation in response to customers’ call for quotation/tender
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including identifying market gaps and potential customers, and generating new leads for business growth
· Build and nurture strong relationships with both customers and suppliers
Product Development
· Working closely with vendor’s R&D and engineering team
· Conducting market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring products to market.
· Performance Analysis: Monitoring product performance, gathering feedback, and making necessary adjustments.
Requirements
· At least 4 years of experience in a product management role
· Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts relating to software
· Strong interpersonal and networking skills
· Resourceful and able to work independently
· Good business acumen would be an advantage
· Well-versed in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
· Comfortable working in industrial workshop setting located in Sin Ming
