Our client is a leading professional service provider looking to recruit a Consultant at the Manager level to provide regulatory and compliance consulting services to a portfolio of Financial Institutions in Singapore and Asia.
about the job
- Provide services related to regulatory compliance, Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), corporate governance, enterprise risk management, internal controls and internal audit to a portfolio of clients in the Banking and Financial Service industry
- Lead compliance audits and independent review engagements across a host of risk and regulatory topics
- Formulate recommendations plan for processes and controls to better comply with regulatory requirements, regulators’ expectations and industry or market practices.
- Assist with the preparation of proposals for business developments or potential new market opportunities (e.g. new clients, services, proposal formulation)
skills and experience required
- Bachelors Degree from a reputable institution
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with prior audit and/or consulting experience from top tier professional service providers
- Experience with the design, development and implementation of framework and strategy, internal controls for financial service business processes
- Strong understanding of expectations of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the regulatory landscape
