Job Title: Speech Therapist / Speech Pathologist

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 9am - 6pm

Speech Therapy Session
Speech therapy exercises and activities are tailored to the child's disorder, age, interests, and needs. The Programme is to include:
- Play-based interactions and stimulating toys/activities to foster language development.
- Modeling correct sounds and syllables during age-appropriate play to teach speech skills.
- Providing strategies and homework for parents/caregivers to reinforce therapy at home.
- Ensuring transferable skills to various settings by collaborating with teachers and caregivers.
- Adapting goals as the child's communication profile evolves.
- Incorporating goals into enjoyable activities for maximum engagement and motivation.
- Promoting social and emotional development through effective communication and relationship-building.
- Promoting effective communication so the child experiences social and emotional benefits, establishing positive relationships.
Key responsibilities:
- Use data and appropriate assessment tools to identify student therapy needs;
- Identify and prioritize goals to facilitate individual and group interventions;
- Create a personalized intervention plan based on the child's strengths and weaknesses.
- Implement relevant child's care plans;
- Conduct speech therapy sessions in a supportive and engaging environment, either in small groups or one-on-one
- Complete specialist report, case notes and other documentation;
- Perform appropriate caseload management and
- Continuously uphold standards of best practice to ensure quality service delivery.

Job Requirement:
- Degree or Post-graduate qualification in Speech & Language Therapy from a recognised University.
- Must be Conditional / Fully registered AHPC.
- Local or PR preferred.
- Must have compassion to work with children of special needs.
In terms of compensation, the position offers a base salary ranging from $4000 to $8000, depending on your prior experience in Speech Therapy.
