Responsibilities
• Analyze specific companies and industries that are identified as potential investment opportunities
• Perform financial modeling and projection. Identify key levers and risks that would affect the performance of the investment
• Make investment recommendations and articulate the investment thesis, risks, and payoff for each recommendation to the portfolio managers and investment committee
• Stay abreast of key technological developments and understand how they could affect investee companies, enhance and augment investment processes and analytics, and shape the investment landscape
• Update on economic developments and the corresponding impact on the group’s investments
• Perform analysis on funds and private investments
• Maintain coverage of stock holdings
• Perform technical analysis on market indices and stocks
Requirement
• Relevant Financial/Investment working experience or relevant diploma/degree will be an added credit for this job.
• Must be able to take initiative and work independently with minimum supervision
• Energetic and eager to learn new skills
• Meticulous and an eye for detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to read and speak in Mandarin to communicate with China counterparts.
• Knowledge of similar Microsoft Excel and relevant programs.
• Able to multi-task and manage time effectively.
