Our client is a contractor with a pipeline of ongoing M&E projects in Singapore and in the region. The are looking to add a Senior Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to support the project directors and managers for projects and tenders.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee M&E site progress and installation quality as per approved
- Ensure Technical submissions for on-time completion
- Appraise works/ products to ensure compliance to specifications and requirements
- Conduct QA/QC inspections
- Liaise with clients and consultants on progress updates and design matters, manage necessary paperwork
- Assist finance on M&E subcontractor and vendors progress payments
- Support business development efforts and tender submissions
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience working for a building contractor for projects in Singapore
- Good technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical trades
- Good knowledge of local codes/ regulations pertaining to M&E services, building construction and safety
- Meticulous with paperwork and reports
- Good project and time management skills, and strong analytical skills
- Team player and able to work independently, work well under pressure and tight timelines
