Duties and Responsibilities
- Reconcile, prepare and analyse data for reinsurance policy renewal.
- Analyse and prepare data, perform Catastrophe modelling and prepare reports.
- Analyse insurance portfolios and optimize reinsurance structures with Dynamic Financial Analysis (DFA) and Catastrophe modelling tools.
- Prepare presentation reports to explain analytics results and recommendations to clients.
- Prepare and enhance training material related to analytics/actuarial work and train clients.
- Develop and maintain internal models/templates and benchmarks.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- One or two years of experience in Reinsurance/Insurance industry working in Analytical or Actuarial roles.
- Degree in Actuarial Science/Mathematics/Statistics or other related fields
- Strong computer skills in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint). Experience in MS Access, SQL and VBA is a plus.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
- Ability to pay attention to details, problem solve with incomplete information.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel within Asia region to facilitate client presentations and trainings.
